Your piece is in my logs. 2k, 8:22. I promised you the truth. Here it is.
Your erg gives you numbers. Not a plan.
Ergy is an AI coach for solo indoor rowers. It reads your erg data, remembers every piece, and tells you what to do next. The coxswain you row alone without.

The problem
You row alone. No club, no coach in the living room at 6am. Just you, the machine, and whatever is on the TV.
You have data, plenty. But a number does not tell you whether you worked hard yesterday, whether to push or recover today, or what three months of progress looks like.
You interpret it alone. Most weeks you replay the same session.
Why current tools fail
- 01
Platforms show you curves. They do not talk to you.
- 02
Generic plans are frozen. A 12-week PDF does not know you were cooked on Tuesday and broke a record on Thursday.
- 03
A real coach costs money and is not there at 5:45am.
What Ergy sends you
Splits: 2:03 · 2:05 · 2:08 · 2:06. The third 500 cost you. You knew it on the machine.
Your rate tells the same story, and it lies less than you do. 24 off the start, 21 through the middle, 27 on the sprint.
8:22 today. Under 8 is 22 seconds. I see 15 of them asleep in that third 500. The other 7, I find when you row cleaner. Friday, same time?
Ergy messages you first, remembers your history, and adapts to how you actually rowed.
Why me
I row five times a week on my erg, in my living room next to the TV. I got tired of being my own coach, so I started training in conversation with an AI.
It worked well enough that I am turning it into Ergy. I build on my own training before anyone else's.
Where this is now
Ergy is still being built. I am the only rower on it.
There is no polished app to sign into yet. If you join, you get in before it is ready, and what blocks you decides what I build first.
